Wayne Clark

Wayne Clark was born in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, and has been writing songs for many years. He is a dedicated writer who puts his heart and soul into all that he writes. Wayne has felt a strong connection with music for as far back as he can remember and he uses that connection to portray his thoughts, feelings and points of view in his songs.

Wayne rarely sits down with the intention of actually writing a song, believing the songs come to him once an emotion is set within. Most of his favourite songs have come to him at times when music was not even in his thoughts.

Wayne has had some success with his writing by having gained Achievement Awards from the USA’s Unisong Competitions for various categories over the years and 1998 saw him as a finalist in Australia’s National Country Songwriting Competition. These results have shown him that he is heading in the right direction with his writing.  (See Homepage for 2007 UK Songwriting Contest Achievements).

In 2006 Wayne had some of his musicals published by Cringe Music Publishing in the UK for inclusion on their 3^rd and 4^th Universal Themes collection of CD’s. These CD’s are released to the Multimedia Industry for consideration for TV, Radio, Film and Advertising purposes.

Due to the fact that Wayne has no commercially released material as yet, you can listen to a few of his demo tracks on the music page. These songs are presently in the studio being recorded for the first of his ‘Labyrinth Collection’ set of CD’s. After the release of his first album, we hope to have sample demo’s of songs for his following albums on the music page. So watch this page to stay ahead with what’s to come in the future.

Wayne’s first album is titled “Crowded but Lonely”.

2006 also saw Wayne start a collaboration with lyricist Margaret Ritchie from Scotland. They have co-written a handful of songs to date, with more to come, and some of these will be featured in future albums in the collection. Wayne is looking forward to a successful career in the music industry with the release of his first album 'Crowded but Lonely', followed by the whole Labyrinth Collection of CD's.
